Lesson 1: Interconnections — Key ToDrawing The Perfect Maha Sri Yantra

The Maha Sri Yantra Is One Of The Oldest And Most
Recognisable Sacred Geometry That devotees have
meditated upon for deep cosmogonical and
psychophysiological insight. However, the knowledge of the
precise drawing method has been eroded over time.

To find the optimal method, we must first examine the
interconnections between the nine triangles (see Leftside
Image). The two biggest triangles touch the outside circle on
three points, and the apex of every triangle is connected to
the base of another triangle. Every triangle is connected to
one or more of the other triangles via intersections.

Importantly, there are 18 “triple intersections” that lock all
the triangles together. A main challenge in drawing
The Maha Sri Yantra is ensuring all triple intersections meet
at the same point rather than crisscrossing, which would
create extraneous secondary triangles.
