श्रीयन्त्र · The Sacred Diagram Of The Mother

The Sri Yantra & The Nine Enclosures

The Sri Yantra is The Very Body Of Maa Sri Lalitha Tripura Sundari drawn in sacred geometry — the whole universe and the self of the worshipper held Within A Single Luminous Form. Raised into three dimensions it becomes the Sri Meru, The Cosmic Mountain Upon Which The Mother is Enthroned.

At the heart Of The Sri Yantra are nine interlocking triangles. Four point upward as shiva, the still consciousness; five point downward as Shakti, The Creative Power Of The Mother. From their union arise forty‑three triangles, encircled by lotuses of eight and sixteen petals and bounded by the three‑lined earth‑square, the Bhupura. At the very centre Shines the Bindu — the single point From Which all creation pours forth, where The Divine Mother forever Abides.

Worship Of The Sri Yantra is itself an inward journey Through Its nine sacred enclosures — the Navavarana — Drawing the seeker from the outer world, layer upon layer, Toward The Boundless Bliss at the centre. Each enclosure is a region Of Her Cosmic Body, a circle Of attendant Goddesses, and a stage of the seeker’s own awakening.

The outer worship and the inner ascent are one

The same nine enclosures Abide within the subtle body, Awakening as the chakras rise. Outer worship and inner ascent, in the end, are revealed as One single Offering To The Divine Mother.
