In adi traditions, the whole ritual could have been completed with only “rice” and “deepa”, and in some only mentally. In tantric tradition reality is manifested from subtle dimension. And just as “MahaYaga” performed mentally, all offerings are ultimately mental, when initiated, regardless of physical movements.
